David was admitted in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court in 2007 after graduating from Griffith University (Qld) in December 2006.  David joined Dwyer Durack Lawyers as a Senior Lawyer in November 2015, and has operated as the Principal of DSA Legal since March 2022.

Prior to entering law David was a projects manager in the telecommunications industry.  David also holds Master of Business Administration from Deakin University (Vic). 

With David’s background he is focused on assisting clients to achieve outcomes in a practical and cost effective manner.Since 2007 David has practiced predominately in area of family law.  He has assisted and guided clients to resolve property, children and maintenance disputes both domestically and international matters including claims from international jurisdictions for child support.He had represented clients in mediations and conferences both within the court and in out of court private mediations. 

David also advocates as Counsel in the Family Court of Western Australia at interim hearings and at trials.David has instructed Counsel and Senior Counsel for trials in the Family Court of Western Australia as well as Counsel in the Family Court of Australia appeals division.

David can provide advice with Child Support and Binding Financial Agreements.David is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia, Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
